Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Happy Kids Therapies | Southfield, MI The Role We are looking for an SLP who wants to be more than just a consultant. At Happy Kids Therapies (part of the Tiny Travelers family), you'll be a key part of our early intervention team, working directly with children from birth to age 5. Since we founded the center in 2025, our goal has been to bridge the gap between standard childcare and specialized pediatric therapy. You will help us shape the developmental trajectories of our students right here in the Southfield area.
What You'll Be Doing Direct Intervention:
Run assessments and therapy sessions for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a natural, high-quality learning environment.
Team Collaboration:
Work alongside our teachers and lead staff to integrate speech goals into the children's daily classroom routines.
Family Support:
Be a resource for parents, helping them understand milestones and giving them practical tools to use at home.
Growth Tracking:
Manage your own caseload, documentation, and treatment plans while staying compliant with state healthcare and licensing standards.
What We're Looking For The Credentials:
A valid Michigan SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred).
The Experience:
You're comfortable with the 0-5 age group. If you've worked in early intervention or a school setting before, you'll hit the ground running here.
The Mindset:
You understand that "play" is a child's work. You can translate complex medical terminology into "parent-friendly" advice.
The Basics:
Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy/physiology and a reliable, self-starting work ethic. Why Join Us? Competitive compensation (we value clinical expertise).
Flexible scheduling:
We have both Full-Time and Part-Time tracks available. Be part of a growing brand that prioritizes clinical outcomes alongside early education.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$100.00 per hour
Benefits:
Flexible schedule Referral program
Work Location:
In person
