Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' communication needs during an upcoming maternity leave assignment. This opportunity spans August through October, providing essential speech-language pathology services to a school-based population. Located near the beautiful lakeshore, you'll help young learners thrive in a collaborative educational setting while gaining valuable experience. Bring your passion for pediatric care and your expertise in speech-language pathology to make a tangible difference. This role welcomes both experienced clinicians and those working toward completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings strongly desired Skillful in assessment, intervention planning, and personalized therapy Collaborative spirit to work well with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds Maintain detailed documentation and timely progress reporting Work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student support This assignment offers the chance to gain meaningful clinical experience, contribute to students' bright futures, and enjoy the flexibility of a contract schedule.
