Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a maternity leave in a school setting located in Sterling Heights, MI. This role offers a chance to provide essential support to students requiring speech and language services from June 1st through the end of November. Candidates available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program only will also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Current eligibility for or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience working in school environments as an SLP-School Strong assessment and intervention skills with pediatric populations Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with student goals Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
