Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students in a school setting. This contract position is located in Sterling Heights, MI, providing a chance to contribute to the academic and communicative development of children in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies and professional standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies for student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology License. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
