Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 school year, providing services across multiple needs from pre-kindergarten through high school. This role is located in Taylor, MI, within a school setting, offering a chance to work with diverse student populations who require speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school. Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create supportive learning environments. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student progress, goals, and therapy outcomes. Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-age children across a broad spectrum of speech and language needs. Ability to manage caseloads involving diverse age groups from prek through high school. Strong communication and organizational skills.
