Qualifications and Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based speech therapy preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team Open to recent graduates with the required credentials and a commitment to making a difference

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs Create and implement individualized treatment plans supporting student success Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure holistic support Deliver therapy sessions, adjust interventions as needed, and monitor progress toward IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and professional standards Participate in student support meetings and provide expertise to enhance classroom communication strategies
