Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll collaborate with educators and families to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, empowering students to communicate confidently and reach their academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and build positive rapport with students
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure coordinated student support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education documentation Monitor and track student progress, updating goals as required Offer guidance and training to family members and educators regarding effective strategies for communication support This engaging contract opportunity offers the flexibility to utilize your expertise while making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
