Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Wyandotte, Michigan ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Wyandotte, MI Job Details Full-time | Contract 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Career development plan 401(k) matching Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive impact each day as you provide speech-language pathology services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade in a supportive school setting. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to use your expertise in speech and language disorders, delivering direct and teletherapy-based interventions tailored to individual student needs.
Desired skills and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience or readiness to work with students across PreK-12th grade Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology is a plus Comfort evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for a wide range of communication disorders CFY candidates encouraged to apply Background in healthcare settings, schools, or pediatric speech therapy is ideal Strong collaboration and communication abilities Responsibilities include: Assessing and diagnosing students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and setting meaningful therapy goals Delivering both in-person and virtual therapy, adapting techniques to best serve each student Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate documentation for school and legal compliance Engaging in ongoing professional development and best practices Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including full healthcare coverage, 401k with company matching, and convenient weekly pay.
