Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference for students by utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis in the Ypsilanti, MI area. This flexible opportunity allows you to choose either full-time or part-time hours and tailor your caseload to your interests—options include early intervention, elementary, or middle school populations. The role is available for immediate start and extends through the end of the current school year, offering you the chance to support communication growth and academic achievement with a diverse group of learners.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Michigan SLP license required Open to those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Experience in middle school settings preferred but not mandatory Commitment to evidence-based practices and collaborative teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Manage documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student's educational environment
