Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals excited to work onsite and deliver impactful services in a vibrant educational setting near Albert Lea, MN. You'll have the chance to work alongside and bolster the current SLP team, providing both targeted and broad support to students who benefit from your expertise. Working primarily within one elementary school and also providing essential services at a secondary building, this role features a manageable caseload of around 50 students. You will serve a diverse range of communication needs, making a genuine difference in students' lives every day. Experienced SLP-CCCs, strong Clinical Fellows, or experienced SLPAs ready for a new challenge are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current SLP-CCC licensure or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); experienced SLPAs also considered Eligibility for state licensure and relevant credentials required for schools Strong background with school-aged populations and diverse caseloads Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Genuine passion for supporting students with a variety of communication needs Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and participate effectively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Support in-person SLPs and collaborate to create optimal learning environments Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and documentation of progress Serve as a resource for staff and families to advance communication outcomes Bring your clinical expertise and caring approach to a school setting where your work truly matters.
