Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is ideal for dynamic professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in K-12 educational settings near the Baxter, MN area. Full-time schedules allow for immersive engagement, and placements will be determined based on your strengths and preferences. Both onsite and hybrid options are available, meeting you where you thrive most. The role begins September 8th.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minnesota or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech and language services Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams Experience with K-12 populations Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students, consistent with individual education plans Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assist in determining eligibility for services Develop targeted treatment plans and interventions based on assessment outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This role empowers you to use your expertise to support students' communication and academic progress while offering the flexibility to match your work style and preferences.
