Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language support and services to students across two middle schools. Oversee and provide appropriate clinical supervision to an SLPA. Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, administrators, families, and other related service providers. Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and educational planning. Develop and implement speech-language goals and services in accordance with student IEPs. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service and clinical documentation. Ensure services are delivered in compliance with district policies and applicable state and professional requirements. Provide clinical guidance and support to the SLPA as needed. Maintain effective communication with school staff and families regarding student speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Minnesota SLP license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required. Experience working with school-age students preferred. Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervision to an SLPA. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work on-site at both middle school locations. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
