Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity focused on making a tangible difference for K-5 learners during the 2026-2027 academic year as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time assignment offers the chance to deliver essential speech and language services to approximately 57 elementary students, crafting individualized treatment plans and working closely with multidisciplinary teams on IEP goals. Expect to build strong relationships with students and staff and play a key role in fostering communication development within the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Background in direct therapy services, IEP development and meetings, and educational paperwork Capacity to oversee and supervise a Tier 2 SLP at the secondary level Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students, in both individual and group settings Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the eligibility process for services Attend, participate, and contribute to IEP meetings and due process activities Complete required documentation and progress reporting in a timely, accurate manner Supervise and mentor a Tier 2 SLP performing duties at the secondary campus Benefits you'll experience in this contract role include meaningful student interaction, the support of an expert team, a predictable Monday-Friday schedule (7:45am-3:45pm), and the opportunity to further develop your skills within a vibrant educational community.
