Speech Language Pathologist Location:
Melrose, MN Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. CCC's preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff. Assist with program development and department initiatives. Provide in-services and education to staff as needed. Support the daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American. Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain certification. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
