Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity to support early childhood communication and language development! A vibrant school environment near Princeton, MN is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position runs from June 8th to June 25th, with a focused schedule of mornings Monday through Thursday, allowing for meaningful work and afternoons free. You'll be working with children from birth to age 5, partnering with families and educators to foster growth during this crucial developmental stage. There may also be opportunities to conduct evaluations for children from birth to age two, adding diversity and depth to your skill set.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state or eligibility to obtain. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted. Experience or interest in early childhood and school-based practice. Familiarity with birth-to-five assessments and interventions is highly valued. Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams. A passion for empowering young learners and celebrating their progress.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to children from birth through age 5. Conduct evaluations for infants and toddlers (birth to two) as needed. Develop and implement individualized therapy sessions aligned with ESY goals. Document progress and communicate effectively with parents and team members. Engage in creative, play-based interventions to maximize every child's success.
