About us You will have a chance to help design your position and our SLP program! The Rochester Center for Children, LLC is a small business in Rochester, MN 55902. We are data-driven, rewarding, supportive and our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students and staff..
Our work environment includes:
Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours Growth opportunities We are looking to offer SLP services at our Center. We work primarily with children on the autism spectrum. This position could work with our current clientele as well as the community at large (adults and children). This is a chance to build a program from the ground up! Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide speech therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing functions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to ensure holistic patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Valid state licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Proficient in speech therapy techniques and patient assessment Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Experience working with pediatric populations and in school settings Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices
