Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise in speech-language pathology will have a meaningful impact on young learners. This full-time assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, providing services to early childhood and 1st through 4th grade students. With a manageable caseload of 58 students, you'll be able to focus on individualized and small-group interventions using the 3:1 service delivery model.
Required Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children (early childhood through elementary) Familiarity with school-based IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong collaborative skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services according to IEP goals, using direct and indirect service models Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting each student's communication needs Assess, screen, and document students' progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal education regulations Partner with classroom teachers and families to support students' communication in academic and social settings Engage in consultative support during the indirect weeks of the 3:1 model This role provides the opportunity to foster communication skills and make a lasting impact on students' educational journeys.
