Job Description
Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract Soliant has an opening for an Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment with a supportive school district in Minnesota. This role provides an opportunity to work with students in grades K-12 and help them develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success. New graduates and experienced SLPs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic communication needs.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
Experience:
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Clinical practicum experience accepted for new graduates.
Education:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
