Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, full-time contract opportunity supporting students across multiple districts as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this in-person, floating SLP role, you'll travel between eight member districts, stepping in wherever you're most needed—whether that's covering for maternity leaves, assisting overwhelmed colleagues, or providing essential in-person services for families who prefer onsite support over virtual options. A vehicle is provided for all your work-related travel, so you can focus on delivering top-tier care without logistical worries.

Desired Experience and Skills:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services Ability to adapt and thrive in changing locations and circumstances Compassionate, collaborative, and skilled at building rapport with students, staff, and families Current state SLP license (or eligible)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across various school sites Step in for staff on leave or with high caseloads, maintaining continuity of care Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings Ensure adherence to state and federal laws governing special education and related services Enjoy the flexibility and variety that comes with this unique role, along with the support of dedicated colleagues and the satisfaction of serving students across multiple communities.
