PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs. To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals. Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carryover of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program. Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred. #INDTHERAPY
