Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A fulfilling opportunity awaits as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave assignment near Blue Springs, MO. This full-time position runs from August 17, 2026, to November 9, 2026, and will focus on supporting students at the resource level in an elementary school environment. You'll work onsite with a collaborative team, providing vital speech and language services that make a genuine difference for young learners.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current SLP license in good standing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred Skilled in addressing the unique language and communication needs of elementary-aged students Adaptable and team-oriented, with strong organizational skills Experience providing resource-level support is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload in accordance with IEP goals Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students requiring speech and language support Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district requirements Contribute actively to student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings as needed Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth
