We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our family of caregivers. About the
Role:
As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Carthage, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) team is dedicated to providing individualized care and therapy to our residents, with a focus on improving communication skills and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs Provide speech and language therapy to residents, including group and individual sessions Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Keep accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and resident progress Participate in staff training and education to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
