Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an experienced and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity provides the chance to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings, offering valuable support to children and adolescents in a school-based environment near Columbia, MO.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification relevant to SLP roles in school settings Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and/or high school levels Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Passion for fostering positive student outcomes in diverse educational communities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for assigned students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders Provide direct therapy services in individual and group formats as needed Participate in the IEP process, contributing expertise to student goals and progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student growth Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and legal requirements Serve as a resource and advocate for students' speech and language needs across the school community This contract role provides the opportunity to make a difference for students throughout the school year in a supportive, collaborative environment.
