School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Columbia, Missouri ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Columbia, MO Job Details Full-time | Contract 14 hours ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students' communication needs for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll be based in a vibrant educational community near Columbia, MO and work full time (35-37.5 hours/week) from August 2026 through June 2027. This engaging split position allows you to make an impact across two settings: half your time will be spent serving a special education preschool, while the other half is dedicated to an elementary school. Ideal candidates are passionate about helping children develop essential speech and language skills, and are comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff. School-based experience is highly valued for this role.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required. Current licensure in speech-language pathology. Prior school experience preferred. Able to provide services to both preschool and elementary populations. Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists. Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings. Support students across a range of abilities with compassion and expertise.
