Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing essential services to Pre-K and elementary students. This is a full-time opportunity, offering 32.5 hours per week from August through May 2027. Work closely with a supportive educational team to empower young learners by helping them overcome communication barriers in a nurturing school environment. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 52 students, enabling them to flourish both academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in school settings with Pre-K or elementary-aged children is highly preferred Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an
SLP Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify speech and language disorders among assigned caseload of Pre-K and elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families Conduct therapy sessions, both individual and group, in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Track progress and maintain detailed, compliant records for each student Provide consultation and resources to teachers to support classroom communication strategies Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development as needed Ready to foster communication skills and make a difference in the lives of young learners? to embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students' growth and success throughout the school year! #p31
