Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their communication goals in a supportive, education-focused environment. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary, middle, and high school students. With a variety of ages and needs, your expertise will make a profound impact as you collaborate with educational teams and engage with families.
Qualifications:
Current and valid SLP license, with certification in the state Experience serving school-aged populations across elementary, middle, or high school levels Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Flexibility to adjust to diverse student needs and school environments
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop therapy plans, and implement targeted interventions for students with speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Participate actively in the development, review, and revision of IEPs Track and document student progress, maintaining thorough and up-to-date records Offer consultations and resources to empower staff and families in supporting student communication Serve as an advocate for students' educational and social needs within the school community This contract position provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience in a dynamic, school-based setting.
