Our skilled nursing facility offers a range of rehabilitation services, including speech and language therapy, to help our residents recover and achieve their individual goals.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team on a PRN basis. As an SLP with our facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of seniors, providing speech and language therapy services to help them recover from a variety of conditions and achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify speech and language deficits Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patients' goals and needs Provide skilled speech and language therapy services to patients, including but not limited to: Articulation and phonology therapy Language and cognitive therapy Voice and fluency therapy Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
