Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging onsite role supporting elementary students in an autism program, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during a maternity leave. This full-time contract position offers a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm. Located conveniently in the Liberty area, you'll join a dedicated school-based team and make a meaningful difference in students' growth and communication skills.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, valid for school settings Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations, especially in autism programs, is highly preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with collaborative, team-oriented mindset Ability to quickly adapt and integrate into established classroom routines
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapeutic services to students within the school's autism program Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate effectively with educators, school administrators, and families to support each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in accordance with school standards Participate in team meetings and share recommendations for student support Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school district regulations specific to special education services This shorter-term assignment is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise while contributing to a supportive and specialized program.
