Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners by supporting students in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract position is suited for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking an engaging role for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the unique experience of working equally at both a special education preschool and an elementary school.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills. Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain one before the start date.
Primary Duties:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Serve preschool and elementary students in both group and individual settings. Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams. Monitor student progress and provide regular reports on treatment outcomes. Consult with teachers and staff on communication support strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings, as needed.
