Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students' communication growth as a full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, working with a diverse K-12 caseload near Joplin, MO. We're seeking an enthusiastic SLP who thrives in collaborative, dynamic school environments, passionate about helping children find their voices and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans, while collaborating closely with teachers and families Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust goals as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process Provide support and resources to staff and families for carryover of communication goals at home and in the classroom Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and program requirements
