Speech Pathologists and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants At New Balloon, our mission is to provide meaningful occupational, speech, and language therapy services to individuals across the greater Kansas City area. New Balloon therapists are known for using their creativity and talent to offer innovative and evidence-based services focused on the needs of individuals and their families. Education:

Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university • We are also accepting those eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) and Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Certification/Licensure:

Active license approved by the Missouri State Board of Speech Language Pathology or eligibility to complete CFY Valid SLPA license or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech, socialization, and language services to elementary students with a range of abilities (which may incorporate forms of alternative/augmentative communication and/or speech generating devices) Assess students' speech and language development Design functional goals and objectives for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Support parents and staff through coaching and feedback Co-treat with other disciplines to share information and techniques, as needed Collect data and complete progress notes, as needed Complete other duties as assigned
