Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary school students through dynamic speech-language pathology services. This onsite role is ideal for professionals looking to engage in hands-on therapy and collaborate within a supportive education environment. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through late May 2027, offering consistent part-time hours across 2-3 days per week.
What We're Looking For:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license, CCC required Experience providing SLP services in school settings, preferably at the elementary level Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students Commitment to delivering services onsite as virtual options are not available for this position Knowledge of IEP planning, progress monitoring, and documentation procedures within school systems
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy interventions Maintain detailed therapeutic documentation, progress reports, and IEP updates Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success Monitor and adapt goals based on student progress throughout the school year You'll enjoy a stimulating and supportive work environment where your expertise truly changes lives.
