Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued Familiarity or experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices preferred Strong collaborative and communication skills Passion for supporting elementary-aged children in their language and communication development

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized therapy plans Provide direct interventions for students with communication challenges Incorporate AAC systems and training for students when appropriate Partner with teachers, specialists, and families to monitor and support progress Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
