Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Engage with a vibrant community of learners by supporting speech and language development in an elementary school setting. This contract position provides the opportunity to case-manage a dedicated group of students and collaborate with an SLP-A and a fellow in-house SLP. The school fosters teamwork and values your expertise as you deliver direct services and help shape positive communication outcomes. What we're looking for: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Missouri SLP Proven experience in a school environment, preferably at the elementary level Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills Ability to manage caseload paperwork efficiently Confidence in supervising and collaborating with SLP assistants In this role, you will: Case manage 21 students while serving as the primary service provider for a caseload of 76 (including case-managed students), with SLP-A support for direct service delivery Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy targeting speech, language, and communication goals Maintain clear, thorough documentation in accordance with school and state standards Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' needs Supervise, guide, and collaborate with an onsite SLP-A as part of a supportive therapy team You'll make a difference for learners while working in a welcoming, resourceful environment that encourages professional growth.
