Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a speech-language pathologist at the elementary level. In this role, you'll provide essential services onsite at a resource-level program from August 17, 2026, through November 9, 2026, covering a maternity leave. Work with a dedicated team and make a direct impact during regular school hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:40pm.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active SLP license in the state of Missouri required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Prior experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention for a range of communication needs Ability to adapt therapy plans to serve a diverse resource-level caseload Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families Attention to detail in documentation and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to students at the resource level Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans, and track student progress Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to promote student success Stay in regular contact with teachers and families to share strategies and progress Maintain accurate documentation according to school requirements and legal standards Provide input and support to IEP teams, ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines Enjoy the opportunity to work in a welcoming school community near Liberty, MO, where your expertise is valued and your efforts make an immediate difference for young learners.
