Full-Time Day Aspire Senior Living Maldenis seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide speech-language therapy services to residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will have the opportunity to work with our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team to provide high-quality patient care to our residents.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
  • Assess referred patients that require rehabilitation services
  • Provide direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation
  • Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
  • Document and record patients' conditions
  • Educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method
  • Evaluate, write weekly progress notes, recertification, and discharge documentation
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
  • Maintain confidentiality,
HIPAA, and Federal Residents' Rights Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university
  • Must have a valid professional license and registration as a (SLP) Speech Language Pathologist in Missouri
