Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CF/CCC), working across multiple schools situated near Saint Charles, MO. This engaging full-time position (37.5 hours per week) serves diverse student populations in Hazelwood (all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), and Jennings (all ages), supporting students' communication and academic success while minimizing travel between schools within a close-knit area.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, active state SLP license required (CFY or CCC accepted) Experience in school-based settings preferred Familiarity with a variety of ages and caseloads; ability to adapt interventions accordingly Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to complete required credentialing including fingerprints and drug screening Dedicated, compassionate approach to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided Engage and communicate proactively with families and educational teams Travel minimally between assigned schools within a single area
