Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a maternity leave coverage from September through November. This position offers the chance to work closely with a mild to moderate caseload, making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners during a crucial period of their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a school-based setting Demonstrated expertise with elementary-aged children Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families No need for SLPA supervision in this role

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students with mild to moderate needs Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Consult and collaborate with classroom educators to support student success and inclusion Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions Attend IEP meetings and communicate student progress to families and education teams Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school environment Position does not require teletherapy at this time
