Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a dynamic opportunity supporting students' communication and educational growth for the 2026-2027 academic year. A contract position is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) near Sturgeon, MO, spanning from August 2026 through June 2027. This unique, full-time role offers an engaging split placement: providing services half-time at a special education preschool and half-time at an elementary school. This environment is ideal for professionals who value variety, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact across age groups.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Missouri SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy plans and connect with students at varying developmental levels
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students in both preschool and elementary settings Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain detailed and compliant records for each student Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to divide time and responsibilities between two school sites This contract engagement provides the opportunity to expand your skills, work within supportive educational teams, and positively affect students' lives.
