Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology support for a dedicated group of students. Work just 2-3 hours per week with a manageable caseload of 17, allowing for meaningful, individualized interventions and relationship-building. This position is perfect for professionals seeking to supplement their schedule or looking for a flexible, part-time role impacting student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred Exceptional communication and organization skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Comfortable working independently with a small caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized interventions tailored to each student's needs Keep detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary Consult with classroom staff and parents to support generalization of therapy strategies into the educational environment Attend and participate in necessary IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for service planning Maintain regular and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
