e3197-39047 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Brandon, MS. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents, providing crucial speech and language services within the school community. We invite dedicated, enthusiastic professionals to applywhether youre a seasoned SLP or a Clinical Fellow seeking valuable pediatric experience.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Mississippi State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) in progress Strong background or interest in working with pediatric populations in school settings Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload needs and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across age groups Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions to promote communication skills Monitor, document, and report student progress, adapting strategies as needed for optimal outcomes Provide consultations and training to teachers and support staff on speech and language strategies in the classroom Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
