Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Forest, MS. This contract role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services within a school setting, supporting students' communication development and educational progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges Collaborate with educators and parents to support student success Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies Participate in meetings and professional development related to speech and language services
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings Experience working with school-aged children in speech therapy Knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Location:
Forest, Mississippi - work will be conducted within a school environment.
