Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students in a school setting. This travel position is located in Jackson, MS, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while experiencing a new community and educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress. Document and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-aged children in an educational or clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a travel assignment.
