9672433-38858 Job Description Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) covering a maternity leave. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and continues through December, making it an excellent role for skilled SLPs eager to engage with young learners while enjoying a clear commitment timeframe. Located in the Nettleton, MS area, youll play a vital part in helping students achieve their communication goals in an educational setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure and eligibility to practice in educational settings Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly preferred Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational and communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop, maintain, and track progress on IEPs in accordance with district guidelines Consult and collaborate with classroom staff and parents to ensure student success and carryover of skills Maintain thorough documentation and provide progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions Stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services This position offers a competitive pay range of $40-$50 per hour, providing a rewarding setting to showcase your expertise and make a direct impact.
