Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full upcoming school year. This in-person position serves two distinct areas across four schools, providing direct impact on students' communication development in a collaborative environment. We are seeking two skilled SLPs—holding an SLP-CCC credential—to manage caseloads of approximately 34-40 students each while working closely with school teams and families.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Experience within school-based or pediatric settings is preferred Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, staff, and families Dedicated to supporting a diverse range of speech and language needs Comfortable working full time throughout the school year Consideration may be given to virtual candidates if an SLPA is available to help facilitate on site
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the K-12 student population Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans Collaborate with special education teams, general educators, and parents for holistic student support Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and report on student outcomes in compliance with school and district requirements Offer expertise for student evaluations and contribute to IEP meetings Provide both direct and indirect services tailored to each student's unique needs This assignment promises fulfillment through meaningful relationships, professional development, and the joy of helping students achieve their potential.
