Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a specialized contract opportunity supporting students' communication and learning journeys in a school-based setting just outside Potts Camp, MS. This fulfilling position is ideal for SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are looking for a manageable caseload and a flexible, part-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with CCC credentials Experience working in educational environments or with school-aged children is preferred Strong clinical skills across speech, language, and communication disorders Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptability and efficiency in managing a small, focused caseload
What You'll Do:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 17 students Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure individualized communication goals are met Monitor student progress, assess needs, and document services in accordance with school and state guidelines Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on comprehensive student supports Deliver services for 2-3 hours per week, offering targeted interventions that make a real impact
