A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Overview We are searching for a part time, or full time Speech Language Pathologist to join us! Sycamore Therapy is a local therapist owned company in Senatobia, MS. This is a very flexible position with mostly in person caseload needs, but the opportunity for virtual therapy needs as well.

reimbursement, 401k matching, Insurance stipend. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of student's speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance communication skills. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of therapy sessions. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and virtual service provision. Experience A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required. Valid state licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric populations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
