Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing dedicated speech-language pathology support in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of school communities, working at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to help students access their curriculum, communicate effectively, and reach their potential.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license. Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience or comfort in elementary, middle, and high school settings. Skilled in delivering 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to document progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students. Provide targeted therapy services in both individual and small group formats. Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure effective integration of speech-language goals within the educational setting. Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and required documentation. Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for continued success outside of therapy sessions. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student planning.
