Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to support students on-site in a dynamic school environment near Burlington, NC. This full-time contract opportunity spans the academic year through late May 2026, offering the chance to make a real difference in student communication skills and educational outcomes. You'll work closely with students and educational staff, providing vital services in speech and language intervention. The specific number of assigned schools and caseload details will be clarified upon placement. Flexibility in school assignments may be needed as you partner with a supportive administrative team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Current educator certification to practice in a school setting Passion for working with children and supporting diverse student populations Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication, speech, or language needs Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and school-based multidisciplinary teams
Additional Information:
