Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist and make a lasting difference in the lives of students. This full-time opportunity is designed for a certified, licensed SLP ready to support K-12 learners (with a focus on elementary grades) for the upcoming school year, from August 17th through May 28th. You'll manage a diverse caseload of 40-50 students spanning six different schools, with the unique benefit of setting your own schedule to best accommodate student needs and your own work-life balance. Your expertise in providing individualized and dynamic speech therapy services will help students successfully meet their academic and developmental milestones. Collaboration, creativity, and adaptability are vital for thriving in this flexible school-based role.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification required Prior experience in school settings, especially with elementary-aged learners, preferred Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a diverse K-12 population Motivation to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor student progress Write and maintain thorough documentation for IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth Travel between assigned schools and manage a flexible work schedule This role offers the autonomy to tailor your schedule, allowing for meaningful connections with each student and staff member across the district.
